The Bible, if you believe in it, clearly states that no one knows the day or the hour. If that is the case, then why the hell would anyone even consider trying to figure out the timeframe between Adam being created and then Eve's creation?

Yes, thank you, IF YOU BELIEVE IN IT, and it does clearly state that no one knows, why be trying to figure it out? The answer, stupidity. They obviously have no control over themselves, they desperately want to prove that they have the answers. So, instead, what do they always prove, that they don't know what they're talking about. It's ALL speculation. Ridiculous. To think that we've been exposed to this for ??? however many years!! Ugh, bad association spoils useful habits, for sure!!!

Here is the specious reasoning they use:

Adam was created in 4026 BC (no proof). Take the 6,000 years that intervened, and you come up with the year 1975 (not counting the fact that it actually should have been 1974). You go past 1975, and it is the amount of time that elapses after 1975 before Armageddon finally comes. That would get us to 33 years as of 2008.

Note that none of this actually means anything. There is no proof that Adam was created in 4026 BC (there is no proof that he was created at all). Besides, why does it have to be exactly 6,000 years? And there is no proof that the time elapsed between Adam being created and Eve has to be the same as the time between 1975 and Armageddon. The Filthful and Disgraceful Slavebugger just made that up when 1975 came and went, and they have to hide their snafu.

This is ridiculous, even if you work on the ludicrous assumption that there was an Adam (lol) surely he would have only started counting his birth/creation day from the moment he began to die. Did Adam know what a year was? Are we to assume Adam invented the calender year? What a crock of crap

In the case of ADAM - what the hell does a man of 30 years of age really mean?

He was created as an ADULT. So did not go through being born, the terrible twos, adolescence, etc.
