As I understand it, Millions then living would never die because the general resurrection would take place in 1925.
At the time, the WTS was teaching that first resurrection (of the sleeping saints) had already started in 1888. This date was changed in 1927 to have occurred in the spring of 1918. Today, it happened anytime between 1914 and 1935...but perhaps 1918.

Proof positive that Jesus picked the WT organization to be the faithful and discreet slave in 1919, right?

Personally, I think the term "EVIL SLAVE CLASS" carries more gravitas and commands more respect for our EVIL arcane powers. Ah, to be young once more... >sigh<

The word ‘apostate’ is a stupid word thrown around that doesn’t mean anything to me.
I was supposedly an ‘apostate’ when I got involved with the JWs after being raised a Roman Catholic. Well, now I’m Out of the Witnesses.

The way the JW uses the word apostate is Hate speech.

that is correct. In 2013 the summer assembly talk "Human Apostates" made it to the Netherlands where a lawyer in the newspaper called out the church talk as 'hate speech' based on a statute instituted after the war in response to Hitlers treatment of the Jews. The Church immediately toned down their rhetoric for the following assemblies. This was posed on this site.
In that talk I am the apostate they singled out as using a new tactic of sending letters to the publishers homes.

I look at it this way. Does my true friends care if Watchtower says I'm an Apostate. They really don't care. Watchtower looks like a child in a school yard name calling for not getting its way. Ask your banker that you're an Apostate, he would not care, means nothing, made up by Watchtower. My whole family are Apostates and some of us are under cover, what fun is that! Especially to burn down Watchtower or to make them look like azzclowns.

TFJW, thank you for that! If the light were truly getting brighter, then it would not flip-flop back and forth. For sure!

In trying to protect their members from being influenced by apostates the GB twist the meaning of the word to include a hatred of former friends and associates the former members had.
And this is just not true .The "apostates" don`t cut off association with in many cases life long friends ,it`s the JW`s who do so.
