Add all of these experiences of being a JW to the fact that we were extremely poor (my clothes were bad) and I was overweight. When I look back on it, it's still painful, the abuse, the bullying. However, I think in a way it's made my character stronger and I am well equipped to face the bullies in the workplace. Sometimes negative reinforcement works!!!

At nine I once told my teacher who handed me some Birthday cake that "I'm on a diet..." She laught since I was very skinny. I felt like a traitor.
By High School I was trying to be a bad ass Witness like ........"Yeah, I don't celibrate Christmas and birthdays, so what! I save on presents."
