I have made the following observation on similar threads i.e that it is my beleif that we do not need to interpret parables any more than the plain lesson the story gives us, unless our Lord gives us extra info, as in the parable of the sower. We do not look to see the significance of every player in the parable of the prodigal son ,it is enough to know that a sinner is welcomed back having left his sin behind. Therefore I agree with previous comments that there is NO FAITHFULL and DISCREET SLAVE CLASS only servants of Christ who have the choice to be good at it or not.
So why listen to an elite group of a dozen or so men who go beyond what is written and label themselves as fullfilling what is not there in the first place?
