I sure hope he doesn't get disfellowshipped as a result. What scripture could he twist to justify that?

Another stock washtowel argument. They are using shame and guilt to force people to go back to a way of life that creates problems where none should exist, holding family hostage. And some of the things you can get disfellowshipped for include using independent sources to research the Bible or Washtowel doctrine, questioning something that is blatantly wrong, teaching something contrary to the Washtowel but that is scriptural as truth, or disobeying the Filthful and Disgraceful Slavebugger or one of the hounders.
For those "offenses(??)", you are cut off from family members and friends. Even if the Filthful and Disgraceful Slavebugger was blatantly wrong!

Lacks any depth whatsoever. Simply reads a bible verse without context or historical analysis and then begins to juxtapose Watchtower beliefs on top of it. Nothing new here.
