I'm sure I read some "expert's" calculation that there were more people living now ( 6 - 7 bn) than had ever lived in total on the earth!

Jehovah will merely have to get the biggest bicycle pump you've ever seen, plug it into Mt. Etna or Kilauea, and pump up the earth's volume until it has 10 or 20 times the surface area it does now. Just like a giant beach ball.

the numbers would be lower by far if you are only counting from 4,000 (+a few) years ago. But if you are counting from 'Eve out of Africa' then 108,000,000 doesn't sound too high.

I agree with fiddler. If you got that estimate from a secular source then it is likely based on the fact that humans have been in existence for a lot longer than the 6040 years that JWs claim humans have been around for. In that case, the JWs can just dismiss that figure as being in error without having to explain how that many people can be resurrected. You can't use population projections based on the true duration of human existence to refute the logistical feasibility of the JWs resurrection belief which they have devised within the context of their erroneous young-humankind bible chronology.
