If anyone is wondering why 21 is not 18, someone split up the Rs some time ago.

When I posted it those three r's were just sub-points - they grew numbers somehow. I like #21. Sunnygal, Namaste. Jeff

doesn't sound like the DL. I've read several of his books. This stuff doesn't sound like him.

I should have just posted them as '18 Rules for Living' without attribution to DL.

The point was that I saw great wisdom in them - not the source. And the source was not an email in my case. Seems like there are always those wishing to create a firefight over such things. I don't care who wrote them. Just that they seem like wise ideas for life to me.

I'm sorry if I find you attributing quotes that were never uttered by someone, a bit off-putting and correct the need to correct you. How many threads here at JWD.com blast the WTBS for false or inaccurate quotes? How many threads laugh and taunt the urban legends JWs repeated without ever bothering to fact check them?

In addition, as someone who believes in much of what Buddhism teaches and the wisdom of the Dali, I think it is intellectually dishonest to claim they are words from the leader of the Buddhist faith.

There may be some very valid points in that list. But Buddhism doesn't teach that, nor did the Dali utter those words. That's all. I didn't 'start' anything. I just gave you a source saying it was a hoax.

They were presented to me as 'factual'. I am not an investigative reporter, hence my inability to confirm such. And far from the intentional misrepresentations that the Watchtower Society presents - this was not intended to affect your faith or anyone else.

So far I am unable to ascertain whether you are real or fictitious!

I like it and don't give a flip who said it. Thank you Jeff.
