What color should I use for the trim on my cloak? An emperor needs a fancy cloak. I decided on purple, thanks to a suggestion from another poster.

If you go with rubies, you probably should have red trim on your cloak. Or a burnt orange maybe.

Oh, please, white trim! Always! Then you can mount rubies along it to set off the purple of the robe quite nicely. Alternate rubies with amethyst for that chic evening look.
