I think lazy is an accurate term for a lot of people, but lazy is not quite the same as purposely remaining ignorant.

Sort of like, "what you don't know can't hurt you"? Some people just don't want to know, because it would turn
their cozy little box they are in upside down. Then they would have to change their whole paradigm, and that
can be quite uncomfortable on many levels.

I was happier more content when I was younger, a Jw. I thought I knew a lot. The more I know the unhappier I am. The bible says to inherit the kingdom you must be child like. Thats a hard place to be once youve grown up. Either I need a frontal lobotomy or a bottle in front of me.
