007 - It's great that you're getting back with your sister. I was in the same situation last winter. Not that my parents approved really. But I hadn't talked to my DF sister in about 18 years. I realized the JWs were full of crap, and decided to call my sister. I was really worried that she would hate me for shunning her all that time. I apologized to her and her husband (really nice guy who I never met) and explained that I was in a cult and under their mind control. They were totally understanding and just thrilled to have our families reunited. Be honest and open and say you're sorry.

007, that sounds like a good development. Why don't you ring your sis and tell her you're looking forward to seeing her again? Bet she'd be pleased. Unless you want to make it look like it's an unintentional meeting??

I don't have her number since she moved overseas with work...I think my mum would have said something though.

It's necessary for you to see your sister and i'm sur she appreciate to see you and your mother. don't be panic because elders tell you something very umpleasant or sad. you must love Jehovah and He love all people and all famillies. my daugther continue to come at my home and i stop to be a JW since 2 years
