Miami Ink is a show about tattooing, it airs on U.S. cable channel TLC. The show highlights the work of the tattoo artists and tells the background of why a person gets a particular tattoo.

On last week's show a young lady wanted what she referred to as a "conscience" tattoo. When I heard "conscience" my ears perked up. She wanted a devil on one shoulder and an angel on the other. The artists working on her wanted to know why. She said she grew up as a JW and was DF. She spoke in detail about DF & shunning. The artists (Chris & Tim) couldn't believe the absurdity around the whole thing.

It was a very good piece of anti-witnessing, probably about 5 minutes altogether. Not to mention she got some very nice work from two talented artists.

Did anyone else see it? If not, the show reruns episodes frequently.

I can just imagine the warnings circulating at the Thursday meeting. "Don't watch Miami ink this week. There's a DF apostate on, and she got a tattoo of satan on her shoulder."

Interesting. I wonder how many saw this and were talking about it in private.

I was watching the show on Discovery Health about the True ER stories, and they had a segment on a JW who wouldn't take a transfusion after a snakebite.

Too bad there aren't more shows like this that highlight the absurdity of JW doctrine... maybe more people would "wise-up".

Logic, I saw that episode a while back. Aside from the very bad acting, the show was good.
