The account of Horus has too many parralels to the story of Jesus to be ignored, even though some points are exaggerated and in fact manufactured in some of these Horus - Jesus parellel essays - it does not negate the entire premise.

I don't know about all of the above, but here's a look at some of the symbology used over the centuries in Christendom.

It just goes to show how easy it is to invent deities with nothing more than words to play with.
Obviously given the interest in such mystical beings there will be generic copies of all such deities stamped on papyrus throughout history. Words just words...the building blocks of novels written for the masses.
