Did they file separate returns? If so, they would only get the $600 instead of the $1200 if they had filed jointly.

My daughter filed HOH, but her oldest turned 18 in April.
That was the reason given for the reduction.

Nope. All who were married filed married jointly. All who were single filed single. I have also been entered into the club, via a letter I received that we will be getting $600 instead of $1200. We having been filing jointly for over 20 years. Warlock
