Ireland is currently a very popular destination for political and economic refugees, as I'm sure you know, due to our high standard of living, modern outlook, excellent employment opportunities and world-renowned friendliness (even if we do have to walk from the sink to the dustbin to get rid of our leftovers).

I enjoy the learning experience and self accomplishment from doing something I never did before and I enjoy reading the experiences of others.

It's a post about garbage. Anyway, I started off genuinely wanting to know the advantages of a garbage disposal, as I actually have one and it only gets switched on when the sink is blocked, and the sink wouldn't get blocked if it wasn't for the garbage disposal unit. It seems to me like a labour-saving device that doesn't actually save much labour. I was hoping you could shed some light on the matter. You responded by telling me it's because you're "lazy ass Americans". I continued the banter in a distinctly tongue-in-cheek manner until you upped the ante.

I'm sure there are a lot of "Hate America" threads that will keep you busy...

I don't hate America, but I do think Americans should take better care of it (and themselves).
