Lone Ranger, I doubt it that TV was still running, she did not pay for utilities for 42 years.
Did she just happen to fall into the mother of all negligences? Why did it take 40 years to notice that no one ever went into or out of the house?? Why did it take them forever to notice that no one was paying utilities or rent? That is, unless she did outright own the place.
LAST SEEN WITH 2 MEN FROM A RELIGIOUS SECT?
Could it be JWs that saw her last?

(well, another report says windows were open diminishing the smell, and in the 70s apts were state owned but no one knows who payed the bills now).
I suspect this will happen with greater frequency in the up and coming decades.
As retirement fund payments and bills are automated, there will no longer be any need for anyone to physically open a bill and pay it. The machine will just keep on running: Money comes in and the rent and bills get paid... month after month... year after year.
All the while the bodies will just sit there watching Sponge Bob Square Pants forever. Kind of odd to think that countless thousands of dead people will be affecting the Nilson ratings, advertising revenues and which shows will be renewed and which shows will be canceled.
"She was a quiet woman who kept to herself but was polite." hahahahaha
what channel??
true story:
my grandmother died in front of her tv, it was JW's that found her, coming around for a return visit.
They could see her sitting in the chair though a window.....and knew something was wrong.
Who do you think they called? the police, emergency numbers? My grandmother's df'd daughter that lived a few miles away? My grandmother's fell way g-daugher that just lived a few miles away?
No...they called my mother who lived 2000 miles away, because my mom was an active JW. My mom had to call from KY her df'd sister, to notify her. My mom didn't go to CA for the furneral.

Oh, that is just so sad that no one noticed....on the other hand, she apparently did not suffer.....
