It seems there are diamonds in that desert, the bushmen really didn't care if someone took them, but the Government thought things would be a little tidier if the bushmen weren't there any longer.

Yeah, I'm always reluctant to add details...but the European company that insisted the Bushmen be removed before they began to mine for these diamonds belongs on the imaginary stage GWBush will be tried on.
I really don't know how this old news panned out. Perhaps someone intervened? I doubt it, but I'd love to hear that this had a happy ending.
