Blondie isn't John supposed to have been near death according to the dubs when he wrote Revelation? Am I missing something here?

The date given by the WTS for John writing Revelation is 96 AD. That would have made him nearly 100 years old at the time, assuming he was born around th esame time as Jesus.

Actually, the epistles of John were written after Revelation around 98 CE. As sir82 pointed out, John was about the same age as Jesus which would put him around 100 at the turn of the 1st century but certainly not 200.
