I have a friend who has been at Beth-Hell since early in 1971. He is arthritic and went one time too many to the infirmary and finds himself with no job, no education, and no benefits after nearly 40 years working his butt off at Brooklyn then at Patterson.....Please help me spread this video around.

Great video, I cried in this one. At least I was 33 when I realize the crap I was into. Still I find it hard to survive due to WT's attitude towards education. I was a teenager in the early 80's and the generation was just about to expire, I didn't finished school, start pionnering because the end was going to come. 25 years has gone by and I'm 41 trying to survive in this hard world.
I feel so sorry about those persons that spend their life to the WT's prison. It is a shame how those leaders of that cult treat their members. WT has cause us only pain, nothing more

I ran out of tears a long time ago. I was saddened because of what Jacob and others have given of their lives, only to get nothing at the end.
I myself gave (off and on) almost 10 years to pioneering. Thankfully, I only did a 3 week (Brooklyn) and a 4 week (WT Farm) stint at Beth hell. I withdrew my ap for permanent after the second stint. I did the whole MTS thing...almost got suckered into being shipped to the middle of nowhere.
I have (probably had) a friend who is still at Bethel. I think this is his 20th anniversary. He went fresh out of Pioneer School back in 1988. He was a young MS/pioneer...still single last I talked to him. I dont hear from him anymore. He probably doesnt know about my fade. So he is in his late 30s and, though he will have some new skills for employment when (not if when) he is dismissed, who is going to hire him if he stays too long?
I have (probably again had) a friend who is celebrating her 25th year as a regular pioneer. She is in her late 40s, single, still pretty and thin. Gave up a shot a school and a good paying career to be a housecleaner and later (I believe) a nanny.... I think she is doing other things now secularly, but what is she waiting for? She will become increasingly bitter as she hits 50 and realizes this old system is the ONLY system there is going to be.
The Watchtower Society should (but isnt obviously) be ashamed of itself.

Excellent video......Very sad that a multi-billion dollar corporation would kick their faithful followers to the curb after decades of free labour. My understanding is that Crooklyn is again recruiting for young ones, but only those who have got specific skills that you need to go to college or university for.

He was let go with a group of several dozen workers. He was released from his duties suspiciously after he became arthritic and had made a few stops by the infirmary. He did not protest.
