I suspect that you have entrusted a few "spiritually minded," "faithful" brothers to quietly monitor the so-called "Apostate" websites in order to do damage control later on via the form of "new light."
Well obviously the development of the internet has been a tremendous thorn in your collective side. Guess what! The internet is here to stay and everyday more and more people are logging on to do everything from shopping to academic research. The proverbial genie is out of the bottle and Pandora's box has had the lid blasted off with dynamite.
Every JW out there who even has one smattering of doubt or curiosity will eventually find an "apostate" video or webpage. It's inevitable.
Since your writers love to use illustrations so much, I'll use the analogy of a seed. After all, you yourselves use the seed analogy when illustrating the preaching work.
Even if they're a properly brainwashed and indoctrinated good JW, all they have to see is a few things that are easily researched and verifiable to plant a tiny little seed of doubt. Maybe it won't be enough for them to walk away from the religion completely, but maybe it'll be enough to put them subconsciously on alert to look for falacies and doctrine contridictions and your infamous "new light" flip flops. That tiny little seed of doubt may grow into a tree that won't sway with every little gust of wind you send out with your publications.
We all know that you're petrified of secular education. Perfectly understandable since secular education emphasises critical thinking, proper research, and in many cases, the scientific method which values amongst other things, proofs, quantifiable results, and validity (meaning can others research the same thing and come to the same conclusions), and your religion requires blind faith and ignorance to make it work.
If a theory is not valid, and I repeat, if a theory is not valid, another individual or group of individuals will find proof of this. Not only that, the individual(s) will inform others that the particular theory is not valid. This is done so that the erroneous theory is abadoned in favor of the correct (or in some cases, more correct) one. In science, this is called a paradigm shift. These paradigm shifts are what has propelled our understanding about the world around us forward.
This is what you're so morbidly afraid of isn't it? You know (even if it's deep down) that your doctrines, your "truth" as it were, are blatently false. You know that that all it will take is people who are willing to take your doctrines apart and examine them, to bring your whole house of cards down.
Your escalading villianization of secular education, the internet, "worldly" associations, independent thinking, non-herd mentality, and so on is your knee-jerk reaction to this. It is so painfully obvious to all but the happily brainwashed and ignorant, that this is what you're doing.
But as it was said earlier, the genie is out of the bottle and all the restrictions you place on your followers won't reverse the "damage" that has already been done. In fact, the more stringent restrictions you place on your followers, the more they're going to rebel and those on the outside will more readily see what you truly are.
Even a docile and obedient horse will fight too-tight reins.
So, why don't you defend yourselves with this very simple supposition; if something is true, it will remain true despite all critical examinations and inquiries.
In your case, if "the truth" is actually true, it will continue to be true no matter what apparent contridictory evidence is presented to dispute it and everyone examining the evidence will naturally come to the conclusion that "the truth" is the truth.
So why shouldn't JWs pursue secular education? After all, if "the truth" is the truth, then nothing that is learned in secular education will dispute it, right? Why can't JWs study evolution? After all, if Jehovah created everything, surely no evidence will be found that will dispute that, right? Why can't JWs study subjects like Philosophy, Psychology, Physics, Biology, etc.? After all, if everything that you teach is "the truth," you'll have nothing to worry about, right?
So the mere fact that you strongly discourage, nay even demonize, secular education, suggests that you're desperately trying to hide something. And believe me, a large number of your followers are starting to sense this.
What are you trying to hide? Are you maybe trying to hide the fact that your dogmatic doctrines are full of holes? Are you trying to hide your brainwashing techniques? Are you trying to hide evidence of your crime-enabling (pedophiles) practices? Are you trying to hide the multitude of ruined lives and destroyed families that your religion has caused?
It is quite transparent and pathetic that your only defense to combat this awakening is to apply more thought control through fear and intimidation and imposed ignorance. You are negligent that because of your doctrines, you now have a large mass of followers who lack the basic skills or education to support themselves and their families at a level of above poverty, and you are negligent because you now have a large mass of rapidly aging followers who were discouraged from planning for their old age in favor of sacrificing their productive years to build your religious empire.
And that is criminal. I accuse you of knowingly, willingly, and actively violating the human rights of your followers.
Acknowledge the accusations made by all these so called "apostates" and "opposers" and prove them wrong. Quit hiding behind your ad hominem attacks and address the core issues.
I suspect that you won't. Not because you're unwilling, but rather because you are unable because you are, quite simply, a bunch of unscrupulous Mountebanks.
