Good - a soup thread! The temps here have been in upper 90s, but I made tortilla soup in the blender yesterday for lunch anyway, then headed for the pool.
My most recent soup discovery however, was FISH SOUP (Soupe De Poissons). We were in France a couple of weeks ago with a gang of friends (biking) and I ordered it every night it was on the menu. It was the starter but by the time I finished scraping the bowl I was full. No wonder - it is served with aoli, toasted baguette rounds and shredded cheese.
