    race: yup

creed/religion: depends of the person's veiws/beliefs and how accepting they are of mine

    same sex: yup

does anyone have an issue with age??! would you marry someone 10 years older? 20? 30? i know alot of you say 'age is just a number and doesnt matter' but what are your thoughts?

i was engaged at 15 to a 22 year old. i don't think the age difference between people is that big of a deal (or even an issue) in most cases. but in mine, i think it was. i was 15...and how many 15 year olds do you know that are mature enough to make that kind of a decision?! i dont know of any. :P
now i compare this to when i was 17 and dated a 25 year old. we were pretty well on the same page and none of our family, friends or ourselves ever cared about our difference in age. so i guess it all depends. i dont know. what do you think?

    mango,

The age issue becomes more irrelevant the older you get. To a 15 year old, 22 may seem a much older person. I am 32, and to me a 7 year difference is nothing. Age doesn't worry me up to about 20 years - although I'd be reluctant to marry anyone over 50 as I'd like to have kids, and it wouldn't be fair to them to have a dad that was too old/sick to do stuff with them.

As far as younger guys go - it'd depend on their maturity. I'm attracted to older guys, so a younger guy would have to be on the same level as me at least. Again, no limit on number of years, but they'd at least have to be of legal age

Well, it really doesn't matter to me. My daughter is of half Puerto Rican and I am of Irish Decent. I was briefly engaged to her father, although we never married. I have dated men from many different cultures, but I do prefer them darker than me. I want my children to have a decent skin tone, since I am white, white, and more white!!! Currently, my boyfriend (who I do intend on marrying) is a JW and I am Catholic. I was brought up in a house where my mother was Catholic, and my father was Methodist... So different religions don't bother me. I will NEVER have a relationship with another women, it just doesn't appeal to me. I want what I don't have, and only a man can provide that for me! That is the only thing that I draw the line with. I am happy for anyone that is in a happy relationship, no matter what they prefer, as long as they are faithful to eachother, I accept everyone for who they are, and don't question any of their feelings.

I love older women!! they are great!!

18-21 and then 30-40 ar the prefect age ranges.

However, the most perfect age of all is 23. THAT'S the age I date!!

Hmmmm...Race is definitely no problem for me-I have dated Caucasian, Black, Latino. Hell, I just love woen-PERIOD!!!
Religion-I have NONE, so as long as there are no extreme fundy views which encroach upon others, I am OK.

Age? As Prisca said, it becomes less relevant as one gets older, but I stay away from the REALLY young thangs LOL. I am approaching 40, and would like a kidlette or two soon, so mid 20s to mid 30s is an age I focus on when dating
