There is a reason for all the signs. The witlesses need to be told every little thing to do, so they will need to be led by the hand to attend one of these wastefests.
Funny, I was in college and never saw a sign telling people to keep moving. I have seen quiet signs up only when a meeting was in progress and it was important to not disturb it. (And that was not common.) Never was there anyone that was assigned to hold it--when such signs were needed, they were posted on posts or taped to the door.
I wonder what happens if anyone pretends to not see the signs, and stops when there is a "Keep Moving" sign instead of obeying it.

lol I used to do that on purpose. I would talk loudly with my friends when I saw a "Keep Quiet" sign or I would loiter when I saw a "Keep Moving" sign. I was such a rebel.

I had the "keep moving" and "keep quiet" job for a couple of conventions. It was a good way to meet young, attracitve sisters who were roaming the concourse instead of being seated...you had to know that they were the right girls to hit on...

Of course, the faithful must be protected from learning. So they demonstrated a book burning of all that evil knowledge.
What?! They really burned a book? That is unbelievable.
I wonder if the demon possesed book jumped out of the fire.

Has to be the worst platform arrangement I've seen. No platforms anymore? No plant sales? Judging by the pics, most look "well fed."

Are those WT bound volumes they're getting ready to burn?
Seriously though...I can't access YouTube at work and I haven't seen the drama clips that were posted...in what context was book burning demonstrated in the drama? Was this Jehovah's faithful servants who were burning books?? What books were they burning? Why?

Watson:
Ditto on the worst looking platform comment. At least in years past, there were somewhat eye-pleasing floral arrangements to keep your eye on, instead of just the speaker's podium tent - this is just the bare minimum. It seems they are downsizing and cutting back on everything ... eventually they just might fold completely, DCs and all! Here's hoping...(I mean, all the talks get regurgitated in the Asleep and the Washtowel in about six months' time anyway) so why the need to sit in sweltering heat for 3 days at all that expense? I guess when the Society's take-home donation total dwindles to negative cashflow, that will finally spell the end of these 'gatherings' aka wastefests (ha ha)

BluesBro: My recording device was more modern. Audio of drama, boasting and other parts to come in a later post. I need to process and clean up a bit, them convert to mp3.
WTWizard: The condescending attitude of treating adults like children prevailed. It was even in the announcements telling everyone how to recycle drink containers. Audio to come.
TinyDancer: I aim to misbehave.
NY44M: The flames on the books were figurative, though the message was clear.
undercover: I was not that close, but if bound volumes are large and brown, then they are likely suspects. In the drama they represented books of worldly wisdom and the decent christians put them to the torch. Audio to come.
