Anyone know where that is? Anyone close to there? I will be there from July 22nd til the 28th. My hubby will be in meetings all day so I will need to keep myself entertained. I guess it's about 30 miles from Newark. If anyone one lives near there, pm me, I would love to meet up and have lunch or something.

Probably so...I will have a rental car to use, I think, but not sure I want to venture into NYC by myself. I'm a big girl but driving in major traffic when I am unfamiliar with the place un-nerves me a bit.

Right. You wouldn't want to take the car into the city. But...!! There are trains and other transportation to use and I think you would really enjoy it. Talk to someone at your hotel and find a simple City destination - a museum, a store, the NY Public Library, a park. It's really a fun city and so much to see. It would be a shame if you didn't at least go for a few hours. Have a good trip! -Aude.

That's a great idea. I have been to the city a couple of times before and had a blast.
