Congrats!!!
My son is 9 & broke his first board last October. His Master put the date on it and said to always keep your first board.

Just kidding: great job. I love martial arts. I'll be getting my black belt in a few months. It's one of best things I've ever done for myself. I love teaching the kids and seeing the pride in their faces when they accomplish a goal.

Thats great. Karate is a great alternative to going to a boring meeting.

Eyes Open: I used a palm-heel strike
feenx: about 2 months now
momzcrazy: it feels about like slapping the surface of a lake or pool, not real painful

JD, so they can save the world !!!!!!
Congrats on the break. I broke my first board back in 1992 when I was testing for blue belt in Kuk Sool Won. I had to do a spinning heel kick.
