"Queenie" has passed away

    It seems that she last posted on JWD back in 2002 so that was well before my time.

    But somehow her name sounds familiar and I don't know why...??

    My condolences to her friends and family who must feel quite a loss and shock.

    I remember Queenie from Women Awake! She was quite a fiesty character.

    Yes, on Women Awake, she certainly kept things lively! I posted there today about Queenie's passing and the women who knew her back then were very saddened by her death. Queenie was certainly one of a kind. I will miss her emails and the snail mails she would send to me.

    Maybe not the time or the place, but it's sad to see that such trends are not unique to the UK.

    I didn't know Queenie but I am so sorry to hear this

    I am on Women Awake group, has she posted this year on there, I didn't see her under Queenie??

    Flying High are you still on Women Awake??? I haven't seen you there, or maybe you have a different name there.
