Last week end I treated myself to skirt steaks. $5.49/lb!
I think I over cooked them.
I usually buy thick cut london broil.

Countryguy-- are you a Wisconsinite? I know some people down south a-ways don't know what a brat is! Gotta be a Johnsonville!
If I'm cooking, something easy like spencer steaks or bratwurst or chicken. But my favorite is ribs, babyback ribs with good bbq sauce.
I'll second the Johnsonville Brats! I've got a family reunion on Saturday and that's what will be on on grill.
Baby Back Ribs...yummy
now thats what im talkin bout lol
One of my favorite steaks is the "Flat Iron"
Read about it here: http://www.gourmetsleuth.com/flatironsteak.htm
Fantastic cut
Tender
Succulent
Juicy
Marinade then grill
Inexpensive

You can't beat Rib-Eye......Best brand I've tried so far is Stirling Silver-----the meat is so tender it just falls apart when you're BB-Qing it.
In fact, I got a flyer yesterday saying that it's on sale starting today, so I'm heading out the door to stock up.
BTW, Happy 4th of Joo-lie America!!
I like a nice sirloin, ribs or chicken. Sometimes a good burger with all the fixins fits the bill.
Filet Mignon, everytime...........
