The other racket is that if your car fails and is fixed, they sell pollution credits to businesses so, they don't have to fit their factories. There is no improvement in the air.

Tired of the Hypocrisy
Californian here. Yup, Smog Dog Country out this way. Mine passed last month with flying colors! first smog for that truck ever. It is a 2002 Envoy and now they smog it?

I'm no mechanic, but I am a dummy. I'm sure I've gotten ripped off more than once, given the thousands I've spent toward this issue over the years. After 4 carbs in one auto (1980 and on the cusp of electronic fuel-injection) and the end result being GROSS POLLUTER, I donated that beloved (really) beast to charity.
Do they really turn the above into roadworthy and smoggable vehicles?
Thanks for your input.

A customer told me he has a friend whose truck runs on Mazola (less than a dollar a gallon when he cannot get sufficient used oil from restaurants).
Where did this guy get his Mazola? The best I can find on line is:
Mazola Corn Oil: 2.5 gallon jug. QTY $26.89 ($10.76 pergallon)

Hi Dep,
Wow! Huge difference. The fella told me that his friend buys it by the pallet to get the best possible price. Some food warehouse, I believe. I'll see if I can find him again as he has a local business.
Thanks for asking,

Wonder what Supermarket he goes to? I pay $5.00 per freaking QUART at my super thanks to the dumb asses who think food should be converted into ethanol.
