Of course Edward Elder's thread mentions Bro. Lett angels marking... http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/12/161163/1.ashx

"At morning worship with the Bethel family, Bro. Lett of the Governing Body, made a few comments regarding our work of preaching and bearing witness to others.

He made the point that we should not be discouraged by not-at-homes or those who are not interested in our message. He mentioned that even if 80% of our visits were not-at-homes, and 20% were not interested, we still have many reasons to be joyful. Primarily, because we are pleasing Jehovah. Also, we are fulfilling our responsibility to bear witness to others, thereby proving that Satan the Devil is a liar. Additionally, we are helping the angels determine the condition of people's hearts.

He then gave this example of a typical day in field service. At the first door we go to, after we knock, a woman peeks through the window, sees us, but doesn't answer the door. We mark it as a not-at home, but the angels mark it as something else. They can see the condition of the woman's heart.

At the second door we knock at, no one is home since the husband and wife are both at work; but we leave a tract. That night when the couple gets home and sees the tract, a conversation begins. "Those Witnesses were by our house today. They sure are persistent." The angels are watching and make note of it.

At the third door we knock at, no one answers. This is because the woman at the first house called her friend at the third house and warned her that we were coming. She says: "Boy, those Witnesses sure are persistent. They just don't give up." We mark it as a not-at home, but the angels mark it as something else.

We knock at the fourth house and no one is home. However, a lady across the street sees us. The Witnesses had knocked at her door last week, but she didn't listen. She says to herself: "Those Witnesses sure are persistent, but very well dressed. Even their children are well behaved. Maybe I should listen to them the next time they knock at my door. " Again, the angels make note of it.

We knock at the fifth house, and again, no one is home. But a garbage truck passes by. The driver tells his co-worker: "There go those Witnesses again. Aren't they the ones that don't accept blood transfusions?" The driver replies: "But look at how well dressed and well behaved their children are. I wish my children were the same." The angels make a note of this.

So at just these five houses, there may have been five not-at-homes marked down, but look how many conditions and reactions of the heart the angels were able to observe. Now imagine how many of these same scenarios they observe being played out around the world each and every day. How important it is that we be in the ministry to help our angelic brothers take note of the responses we receive at the doors."

Ultimately with no one spiritually at the helm we are just drifting from one POV to another....

BTW are they mentioning the stuff Losch said at the Hawaiian Zone at the DCs....that we are no longer fleeing False Religion but could be some sort of natural disaster?

Seriously - even Santa has more powers than these angels. He at least knows when you've been bad or good. These angels need us, 'cause they can't peek inside people's homes on their own to determine their heart condition.

I root for Santa. He'll know what's what.

The society either dileberately writes this crap to be ambiguous to confuse the jws or different writers have come to their own conclusions and do not share their ideas with each other. The more of the literature you read the more you realize it is one of the other.

The good thing about being out is that you can compare their information that none of the information matches up.

crazyblonde, I'm not stupid. I was just wanting to clarify 100% that the "old" belief that Jehovah reads hearts and will "spare" those with a good heart condition had been abandoned. I don't think your comment was called for.

IT WAS A FREAKING JOKE. I'M SORRY YOU TOOK OFFENSE, AS I STATED IN MY REPLY TO YOUR PM.

Hence, the proclamation of God's message must continue unabated right to the end. (Rev. 14:6,7) This places a heavy responsibility on all of Jehovah's dedicated servants

ya ya what else is new?

You know last I heard the WTS has been saying the whole earth has been preached to. that "you will not preach to every house in Judea" line. So isnt the preaching work done???

NO!!!!!!!!!! - we have to keep going and getting it MORE DONE! Oh yes, you have a heavy responsibility (burden) placed on you by Jehovah (WTS)

Dont tire out! Keep preaching! Keep gathering together! Keep studying your WT! Keep reading your NWT! Keep donating! Keep handing out tracts instead of books and magazines because they cost less and Jehovah is low on cash with the price of oil so high and all (!!!!)

You know what, I am literally to the point where not one bone in my body believes this shit anymore. I just want out.

Even as a former JW, reading this was a bit shocking. I guess I'm further removed in my thinking than I realized. No wonder they're putting this crap in a "secret edition" of the WT. Can you imagine what the general public would make of this?

Now note this statement from WT April 1, 2008, page 31, last paragragh:

"Lovers of Jehovah God and his Son, Jesus Christ, need not fear Armageddon. God's battle is directed solely against those humans whom God judges to be incorrigibly wicked."

This is, of course, the public edition

Cate, of course, what they don't tell people is that only baptized JWs are "lovers of Jehovah God". Imagine how "householders" would feel if they knew that they were included in the "incorrigibly wicked" class. This is intentionally deceitful writing. Not that I'm surprised, just don't know how to combat it.

How can any of us know these people are "anointed" by Jehovah? So many other so called Christian religions are preaching the "good News"
