I expected this to happen myself before 2010.
Greenland is already melting a good fast rate, and I believe it's speeding up. Parts of southeast Asia and Indonesia are already losing FEET of beaches, whole islands, etc.
Iceland is cool!!

I recall that the meltback was pretty huge last summer. The Northwest Passage was actually open for a few weeks.
