I read this Watchtower the other day, November 15, 1984:
For instance, in 1904 the Watch Tower Society’s first president, Charles Taze Russell, wrote: “The Church is to withdraw from him its fellowship and any and all signs or manifestations of brotherhood.” (The New Creation, page 290)
I don't believe this to have the context with which the Watchtower uses it.
Does anyone have a scan of this book "The New Creation"?

That sounds like what's in place except any sign of brotherhood has been defined to include even saying hi.

Just let me know if you need the "whole" book and not just a scan! And, do you prefer the "Millennial Dawn"--(The New Creation), or the "Studies in the Scriptures"--(The New Creation). The "Scripture Studies" edition came after the Millennial Dawn edition.

New light for you
they're not misquoting....
its just "old light" .... it could be apostate sounding, doesnt matter. OLD LIGHT. You could never get a current witness to care what a book wrote back then. doesn't matter.
OLD LIGHT.

Old light. LOL! I've been out for a long time. I don't remember that phrase. They cover it all, don't they?
