    Hey guys.

Yet another n00b here in your midst.

Let's see here.....I'm about to hit the big 22, and I just came from NC to the steel city. My first 6 months here, I still tried some of the the witness stuff. You know, sake of the parents....and wow. I gotta say, theres hypocrisy with witnesses everywhere, but the witnesses here in Pittsburgh make Anna Nicole Smith look like she actually loved her billionaire husband. So if anyone here is in Pittsburgh, hit me up.

Now...anyone here have some good meatmarket stories? The meatmarket being the break time of the conventions, where all the christian bastards walk around to check out who they'd like to have chaperoned dates with so they can sit close to each other at restaurants for 2 months so they can then get married before they can even drink legally. Or if they're a servant or pioneer, then they find people to have personal studies with after some hot service (wink, wink). It's summer time, and I'm not auxiliary pioneering, OR at the assemblies:( I'm not making any more stories of comedic values, so I wanna hear some new ones.:)

    Peace to all

    Welcome to JWD

    Glad you joined...

Sorry no stories here, I wasn't allowed to leave my seat at the SAD, CAs,or DC without the buddy system and being timed.

    Again welcome!

Never bothered with the meat market, but then again my tastes tend to run more on the side of other hottie sisters. Welcome to JWD. What are you long term plans now that you have (I presume) moved a bit further away from your home congregation? Going to stick it out or go for a fade. You know hypocrasy makes a good excuse -- you could have been stumbled so far from home and now you are finding it oh so hard to go back.

I'm definitely in fade mode. And by fade I mean fade from the memory of every witness I've ever known.

I just started college again after a two year break. I gotta say, it's amazing how diffetrent it is when I'm doing my homework and not thinking about what all I'm going to be saying to elders in the backroom that always need to "discuss something with me".

So yeah, school is keeping me busy and is gona do wonders for the fade.

And I love simply not caring about the bastards anymore. For a while, I caused alot of crap for myself because I would get all righteously indignant and upset at all stuff I saw going on in the halls and whatnot. So yeah, that was all just a big waste of time. Verbally beating the life out of witnesses felt good at times, but it only got me more meetings for myself and my parents.

I'm gona do my thing....they can keep getting up every saturday morning:)

About all I ever saw was the hounders from my former congregation making sure all I ever got was other men. And they did a pretty damn good job at it.

I wonder why I will not be going this year.

Me and my buddy Trevor cut a pretty wide swath through the hotties in central Ontario back in the early 70's. Heck, sometimes we'd get lucky during the break and spend the next session with a couple hotties in Trevor's VW Beetle out in the woods somewhere. . .tee hee! But we had to be back before the closing song!!!!

Sigh . . I often wonder what ever happened to that cutie from Saulte St Marie . . man she taught me a few things . . .

I'm new on the board as well. I grew up in Pittsburgh and left to come to Florida 3 years ago at 24 so that I could make a clean break from the organization and make it easier for my family that I was leaving. I can give you tips about good places to go and eat and stuff, and some good places to hide as well. Have fun in the 'burgh! As for the "meat market", there wasn't much to look at from a sister's point of view. There were the obvious oglers (sp?), the ones who were there just to make some family happy, and the "super duper extraordinary" brothers who didn't look at anyone but his immediate little clique. Oh the memories.

    Welcome!!

You've moved to a neat little PA city, I've been there several times. (I'm near Harrisburg) You also have put yourself into a neat position - to be able to go and visit C.T. Russell's grave!! Yes, it's right there in Alleghany County! The Bible Students have their own cemetary, and CT Russell's grave is a real treat, as it has a pyramid right on top of it with his name on it and everything!

If you've ever doubted that you were in a cult, a drive up to that creepy cemetary and a look around at his gravesite will convince you how pagan the origins of the WTBTS really are.

    Regards,

    Wing Commander
