Monday's stage will finish at Hautacam, a ski resort nestled high above the piligrimage center Lourdes.
Hautacam has been climbed three times before, starring 7-time champion and cancer survivor Lance Armstrong on the most recent occasion in 2000.

Nice heads up hamilcarr- I personally am looking forward to stage 17 with the 3 massive climbs ending on Alpe dHuez. I may take the day off from work to watch the whole stage.

Well, the world has become a village. I guess la douce France isn't that far from Miami.
Is it popular in Canada? I don't know any Canadian rider though.
After last year's debacle, drastic measures were taken to restrict doping use.
