Big time Who Fan here. I went to their concert in 1979 in NYC and couldn't hear for 2 days afterwards. What an awesome show!!

For you John Entwhistle fans, check out this video. John is simply amazing.

    Awesome tune!

Yep. I like Pete's voice...not necessairily a "rock" voice, it's more like a stage voice, like it very very much.

Saw the Who tribute on VH1 night before last. I thought the Pearl Jam performance was awesome! Man, can Eddie Vedder scream or what!?

The Who played a great live set at the end, and Pete Townsend was great with all of the windmill chord strikes. The whole band rocked hard, and I recorded all of it. Who was playing drums though? He did a good job.

That was Zak Starkey, Ringo's son. He does an awesome job I think; he's serious, not playful, but he aces it with his intensity. There is a cute story about him learning to play the drums...of course I don't remember it, terrible memory here. You might google him if you are interested.

Also the night before they had a "Roc Doc" (documentary) which was where the clips came from in the show. It was really really good. If you get a chance, try to catch that. I'm going to watch it again when I'm not running around.

Not a big fan but have a friend who is. Went with him and saw them live in Dallas in 2002. Good show, but just two original members.

Yea, he was good. I remember I saw some interview with him where he played using this "raking" technique with his right hand and blasted off some crazy riffs. I've tried to emulate it but I don't even come close to his leads. Much respect for the Ox.

Yea, his voice is distinctive and he can belt it out too, maybe not like Roger "leather lungs" Daltrey but still. His solo stuff was good as well, "White City" was a fav.

How was the show? I wasn't able to see it. I was in a hotel in Chattanooga, TN. Do you think it will be on again over the weekend? Sometimes they will play it again. I'll check it out. I am back home again. I love the Who. I was backstage in my youth at one of their concerts & wasn't wearing my glasses so didn't know who Roger was right in front of me! I am so blind. My friend was having a chat with him about his chain around his neck. He had the best hair & jewelery, then. I have always the loved curls. Didn't get to meet Pete, he was so great that night in concert. Saw them again when they still broke everything up at the end of the gig! Those were the days!!
