The FDS has given financial advice? From what I recall reading they only give some common sense guidelines that also included filling out forms for government assistance!
I would rather listen to Ben Stein concerning my finances than The Watchtower!

Trust the Filthful and Disgraceful Slavebugger? This is the same group that misled people repeatedly that the end was very close and even told people to sell out, only to leave them in debt and holding the bag when the end didn't come. And they have altered so many doctrines, including life threatening ones, several times. They cannot make up their minds whether organ transplants are acceptable. Or oral sex. Or going to college (a few years ago, college was viewed as a practical necessity; now, it is not).
Anyone that has been through the 1969 era knows better than to trust the Filthful and Disgraceful Slavebugger. Back then, they were dissuading people from college and getting people to sell out, work part time, and pioneer. And then 1976 came, leaving them in debt and with crap jobs. Many neglected their health because they thought the end would save them or because they didn't have enough time and.or money. And they are paying the consequences now.
This is one organization I will not trust.

I am soooo glad that I quit going at all BEFORE I came to JWD. I doubt that I would have been able to restrain myself from screaming BS from my seat at each increment of this crap. Hence, my question as to how any of us here are still able to attend ANY function of the WTBTS. Just the occasional conversation with my sister-in-law tempts me to call BS on her.
