Ohhhh that was slightly ahead of my time, but oh man did I discover it later!

I was going through my county outlaw phase in the 70's . I was listening to Willie, Whalen and all those guys.

Toward the end I discovered Meat Loaf and Jim Steinman and I have never looked back. I will never forget the vinyl cover for Bat Out of Hell. I was so frightened just by the appearance. I was so shocked to learn that BOOH is actually a love story, along the lines of "tell laura I love Her" ( per Jim Steinam himself)

About this time SNL came on and I was lol to it and Mary Hartman sitcom. As you see I was not a very good jws. lol

I've put up some meat Loaf before but will go see if i can find a really good you tube video.

I never really liked most of the Disco music of the 70's, well except for a few of the Bee Gee's songs and Donna Summer. By the 80's i was back to pop but never left Meat Loaf. He struggled through the 80's in the states but did well in UK. Then in 93 he got a Grammy. He is still alive and kicking. I found Queen via Meat loaf.

I know this is a bit archaic but I always loved this song ever since I've heard it for the first time. This was my introduction to country...
