Gregor!!! I'm so glad to see you. The "humble pie" tastes a bit artificial, but that's okay.

Gregor,
How does humble pie taste? I might try it sometime.
Which brings us to an interesting ethical question. Can a person be described as having 'left' a discussion board when they are obviously still actively reading that board? HS

Which brings us to an interesting ethical question. Can a person be described as having 'left' a discussion board when they are obviously still actively reading that board? HS Well, that is an interesting question. I never considered it as reaching the status of an ethical dilemma but I felt no qualms about following the development of Simons pogrom for a few days after I quit participating. I became aware that Journey had "left" also and we shared a pm. Then, recently, a third party pointed out to me that she was "coming back" and I have followed that thread the last couple of days. If my lurking on these occasions has brought shame on me I am truly humiliated and can only say it was done in all innocence of motive. I have missed your pithy posts and it goes without saying that you must have felt the void left by my absence. I hope my last post did not leave the impression I was sulking like a teenager going into their room and slamming the door. I was (am) genuinely disappointed in Simons initial thread. I am aware that he seems to have clarified and moderated the original impression. If I were to start posting again, at the risk of completely losing your respect, I would have to agree with Journey that politics would be a subject I would stay away from here. Regards, G. (who actually does have a life!)

...actually I would. I have always enjoyed Gregor's posts, at least most of them. I thought his dramatic exit from the Board a little out of character. You don't know me at all do you Journey.

Post away matey. Your posts are always valuable, and above all honest, which blows a refreshing and much needed breeze through many threads. I see no reason why you should stay away from political threads Gregor, as you always presented your views with a customary reason.
We may not agree in all our political views, but that is part of the joy of a vigorous debate - reassessment.

What a pansy!
I won't self-censor. I know my views are not popular here but I don't care. I self-censored in the WT. But now?
