This is the Book that says The Great Tribblation and destruction of Christendom will happen in the 20th century. (somewhere about p315 - 360 its a left hand page, under the Subheading.)

I wonder if they have slyly edited this out of the CD version yet - like they did with the 85 Witchtower that says the preaching work will be completed before the end of the 20th century?

So much for the boasting "PROPHET" on p70. We are still here.

Deuteronomy says to put false prophets to death who claim to speak for God.

I've had a look on the latest version of the CD and can't find it.

the following is a quote from "The Nations Shall Know that I am Jehovah - How?" published by them in 1971, page 216

*** kj chap. 12 p. 216 par. 9 "Until He Comes Who Has the Legal Right" ***Shortly, within our twentieth century, the "battle in the day of Jehovah" will begin against the modern antitype of Jerusalem, Christendom

This is on the 2007 WT-CD.

And I think the other quote was in the hard copy of 1989 WT

1989 "The apostle Paul was spearheading the Christian missionary activity. He was also laying a foundation for a work that would be completed in our 20th century." (Watchtower, Jan. 1, 1989, p. 12 [bound volume changed "20th century" to "day"])
