Ken,
I agree you with you about the Melbourne game. Even if it was played in pouring rain, I thought it was awful. No, I thought it was AWFUL!
BTW glad you could watch 'em at a civilsed hour. See, another disadvantage for us.
Cheers,
Ozzie

We have a soccer team? Hm, I guess one learns something everyday.
LOL. Just kidding, but soccer in the US is about as popular as JWs coming to your door.
When I think of you Aussies, three things come to mind. One, those koala bears, two, Mad Max and three Paul Hogan. Just kidding. Actually, if you ask most American down under is almost always on the top of the list of places that we'd like to visit.
G'day Roy,
Nice of you to say so. Remember the Peter Allen song? "I still call Australia Home" is the way we feel about the place too. Funny though that the 3 things you mention (koalas, Mad Max, Paul Hogan) figure nowhere in the Australian mind. Well, maybe the koalas; just so they can piddle on the tourists! (They (koalas)stink!)
Cheers,
Ozzie

The height of US soccer prowess IMO came when their ladies team won the world cup. One of the chicks took her top off to celebrate!
