I could live without the bears and the moose Outlaw! I ran into a moose once, and I was skeered sheetless.

Awww...I saw a moose with her baby one time when vacationing in NH. They were on the side of the road and a bunch of people had pulled over to get pictures. I WILL say she looked pretty pissed off, my parents made us kids stay in the car in case she suddenly decided to charge in protection of her young. Very cool sight to see, though!

I love my job. Best I've ever had and hopefully I can retire there. Telecom Engineer at an Engineering Consulting firm specializing in Public Safety Radio Communications. My principal duties are to do all the GIS (geographic information systems . . smart maps) stuff. I also get to hike alot in the wild areass (The Bronx, Queens, Lower East Side ) . . as well as the Adirondacs and the Catskills. . .
Spent Feb and March this year on snowshoes hiking all over the wilderness of Chautauqua county offroad testing a State Police radio system, each 3 person team had to carry a rifle because of the bears and other critters.
There are thousands of radio towers in NY State and I've been to most of them . .
I love my job

That is actually quite easy. Think of what your hobbies are and then turn one of them into a business, It worked for me.
Contemplating how to turn oogling cute men into a business.
Thats the oldest business in the world.
You can learn the ropes in a gentlemens club, or a titty bar, then start your own escort business.

It's not the best in the world, but I would rather be there any day instead of being stuck at the boasting sessions or out in field circus.

The job I have right now, while I'm glad to have one in this economy (nearly 400 people applied for 15 positions of which I was hired for one of them) --- but I'm just marking time. I work as a stocker / clerk at a Petco pet store. It's okay but I'm just doing it as a part time gig to pay for gas and books while I pursue my degree. I simply have to put up with it for the time being. Being my age and having extensive retail management experience, it's kind of a major step backwards to end up a stocker / clerk making 8 bucks an hour. I haven't made that little since I was like 20 years old. It'll do because a) they like me and my vast storehouse of knowledge and experience and b) they are very flexible on my schedule to work around college classes. It'll do...but I definitely classify myself as one who tolerates it. I have days when I enjoy working there and others when I hate it. I'll be glad when I get done with school and can get into some more satisfying work. I'm studying to be a criminal forensic scientist...hopefully specializing in accident investigation and reconstruction.

My job is never the same thing every day. It's always something different or new. And it has it's share of challenges. And it can be extremely dangerous. It's decent pay and a good retirement. And it depends on the day on whether I love it, hate it or just don't care!!! And I've learned tons!!!!!

I love my job as the editor of a weekly newspaper. I'm in a small enough town that it doesn't consume every waking moment, and I have a great boss who is more than happy to let me do whatever I want as long as I get my job done. In fact, if he knows I'm planning to book off early for a weekend, he usually nags me to go until I finally give up and leave.
