This information probably bums the elders out most, as they generally want to be out less than anyone else. I could count on one hand the elders that actually enjoyed it over my 30+ years and congregations cost to cost.

I don't think it will affect the reported hours at all because most of the JWs I know count the meeting for service in their time even though they're not supposed to. -

They used to have 2 meetings in one evening- the Theocratic Ministry School and the Service meeting. They shortened those to squeeze the "book study" in there. It doesn't need to be long because they are just standing next to a cart or handing people a simple tract. The meeting for service should be shorter too.
I am sure that some long-time pioneers said they wished this meeting was shorter so they could get back out there next to their cart without "losing" too much time. It's all about time. TIME TIME TIME!
They probably said that some frigging elder thinks he is a hotshot because he graces them with his presence at the meeting for field recruiting and he thinks he is "teaching" them something by making some point or demonstration. They just want to keep their time rolling and get it the hell over with for the day. "Just let the pedophile pair up with the pre-teen and get us pioneers back to our gossip about the sisters while standing or sitting next to the cart." (Well, probably not those exact words.)

The JWs are running out of things to say so meetings for field service should be shorter, hey they are just handing out JW.ORG advertisements with no need to defend or answer questions just point them to God's Organization on Satan's internet, who needs a 15 minute preparation for that type of field service?(forgot about the totally brain dead LOL) -

People are creatures of habit. No one will hit the territory one minute sooner no matter what the length of the field service meeting. -

Since Jah already knows what's in your hearts, drop the prayer and save valuable minutes and seconds.
BTW, if this is all for the purpose of efficiency in the door-to-door work, they absolutely need a few Kingdom Ministry articles on stopping the shuffling gait as JWs meander around the territory, meeting frequently in clusters to chat with one another before dwawdling to the next locked gate.

They need to just get their a$$es out to those doors and start spreading the good News about armageddon comming sooner or later or some day really really close according to God's organization dooms day clock which get reset every so often to allow for human imperfections but keeps on ticking away.. -

Everyone just lies about their reported time anyway!
Now we can just lie more as this means an average of 1 hour more spent "out" each time! ( by rounding UP to the nearest hour increment)
