That happened to me a few years back and I now get about 200 spam messages every day. It used to be mostly from allegedly hot Asian babes who wanted some action, but lately it's mostly people calling me a stupid moron in the subject line. Now I use the account for situations like this, and later give my real email address to legitimate people who email me.
