I have a few questions about what this actually means. The shutting down of Jwd. Will we be given a day and hour almost like a countdown? Will all the incredible insights and knowledge be lost to time, save for those that have had the presence of mind to save what was dear to them. Are we really starting over? If someone wanted to change their identity after the site closes is that still posssible? Is it all lost or just hanging in space ready to be accessed, but not involved in discussion. Forgive my ignorance. What site would be reckoned as closest to the energy and setup of this board? I ask, because this is the gold standard without question.

Thanx Sylvia, you're very sweet! I always remember those that treat me with dignity. I didn't mention you in my earlier post, Just as I'm sure, there are others I missed, but I do have high regard for you. Lets hope we get some answers!
