  the nastiest food you've ever tried? You know, the stuff that makes you go into convulsions. For me, I would have to say cottage cheese. All I can say is, "bleached puke."

  that horrible fish that Norwegians eat, can't remember the name right now, but my god it is disgusting. I spit it out so fast it set a record. lutefisk - that's it. Don't eat it. Disgusting beyond belief.

  Ha! I couldn't think of anything, until you said that Hortensia. But the one that gets me is the pickled herring. Is that the proper name? Its like sardines and onions in sugar and sour cream??? Who the heck came up with that nasty mess?

  Of course, I haven't eaten any in 15 years--hard to find a restaurant that serves them. They used to have them occasionally at the KFC, and me and dad would get them sometimes when we were working in the hay fields.
