I'm not sure what the joy in being right is if it is not recognized by anyone. It's rather useless. I suppose vindication may come later. But that when I would feel good about it. Then you can say I told you so and eat shit for mocking me.

Trying to convince folks after all the facts have been presented is like being shit on, or robbed.

I guess a more accurate question would be, what's more important, being right or being acknowledged as being right?

To me truth reigns supreme over acknowledgement, but thats a very lonely place to be. Acknowlegement may be good for the soul, but if your wrong and knowingly still get it, it's like your cheating yourself. It is a hollow victory. Truth is eternal and the vindication that may later come, is far more nourishing.

Acknowledgement for some is ego gratification. I'm not so sure this matters as much, to the true scholar.

Tired of the Hypocrisy

When I feel like I am right but everyone else is wrong I feel weird. I don't want to be an arrogant ass, so I go back and double check my facts. If I am right I am right and I just keep it to myself. When crap blows up in their faces I try not to be an I told you so-er.
