Today they were filming in "The Dragons Kiss". It's a pub with a Chinese theme bar and Chinese food, just in the centre of town.

Anyone know what became of a series called something like "best of the summer wine"* It was a comedy set in early 20th century Yorkshire and was about the adventures of 3 or 4 town lads comming of age as the war loomed.
I have an extensive collection of Bwitish comedy's and would love the videos of that show.
cheers, unclebruce brusselling his sprouts to watch the 'bottom' xmas special.
(*not to be confused with some more recent ol' fart show of a similar name)
Wallaby Jack. BOING!
OK, I'm sure you know that "The last of the summer wine" has been running for donkeys years, even though Bill Owen (Compo), popped his cloggs a coupla years back. It has been so successful that, a few years back, a pre-quel was issued called "First of the summer wine" featuring the old gits as teenagers in the 30's.* http://www.beebfun.com/lsw.htm
Interestingly, the Yorkshire village in which it is filmed, Holmfirth, has become quite a tourist trap as a result.
