The conference call is the newest venue to expose the watchtower for what they really are -a dangerous and destructive cult !

We thank all the people who came on the program with us. Some may be asking about the third hour of our call on August 16. There was a lot of interference and background noise. My computer control panel was jammed and could not properly use the mute and unmute keys. I am not sure why this was happening, perhaps it was due to so many people calling in at once, or maybe deliberate sabotage on the part of the Watchtower. For those wondering what took place in the third hour, we are trying to clean it up with special software, and hopefully post it as part two of conference call August 16.

I suggest these be made available in MP3 format as well. It is the most ubiquitous format and will reach the widest audience. Not everyone wants to install the bloated Apple QuickTime junk. ;)

I listened to it. At first I was irritated with the person who was debating Simon regarding him being banned- then Mouthy came in to help Simon ( he he just like on the board). Mouthy then came in to tell Simon someone had posted who was suicidal. I sort of had an epiphany.

This is what JWD is and has always been about. The interaction between Simon and Shawn and Mouthy- that is JWD. With all the board wars maybe we have forgotten what this and other places ( Randy's site) have meant for us. I know it is so easy to give up- to say it is too much -and it is too much for one person. I also think legal assistance is totally appropriate given what has happened.

We have turned it into a city of refuge ( getting all biblical here). For the vast majority it is a place for active jws to lurk and read. We are helping people to get out to this destructive cult-one that takes lives of family and friends. It takes children's lives. It hides rapists and child molesters and looks the other way at spousal abuse and child abuse.. It prevents mentally and emotionally ill persons form seeking treatment.

I think this is worth fighting for.

Seriously, thanks for the feedback. As I think I posted somewhere else, that isn't something I'd normally choose to do - I hate talking to just one person on the phone.

It was an interesting experience and I did enjoy it in the end even though I now cringe hearing myself talk.
