My cats are intelligent. They understand what the word "OUT" means and run the other way as fast as possible whenever I tell my husband that the cats need to go out. Even if I spell "O-U-T" they run!
And they're not "dumb" as in non-verbal either. They carry on, yelling and screaming and talking all the time. They just don't speak English.
