I don't know, John. That's a big question and the hour is late.

I predict the number of honest responses to this query will be quite low.

I'll give you an honest answer and it is this: I will not reveal the biggest lie I ever told. I will say it was told to protect someone I love.

I do not know, but I do know someone told me the greatest lie ever(for me) and it took me 2 years to find out the truth. I was very angry.

For the past eight years I have kept going to the kingdom hall even though I no longer believe. Does that count?

Apart from telling someone once that their ransom teaching made perfect sense…..!!!!

I used to tell the kids at little school that I was an expert motorcycle racer. I must have been convincing because they all believed it through my school life; I mean, when do you come clean on a lie you said as a small kid….??

So even into big school they all believed it, although I didn’t elaborate on it by then being I was worried they would find out I was a phoney…..

I did get caught out mind….

After I left school I got into racing and at my local race track I bumped into one of the kids who believed my little white lie. Hadn’t seen him for years. I was thinking….. OH Sh*t…!! But what was funny was I had a really good race that day. I got third overall and would have got second if I hadn’t crashed. He had watched the racing all day and it confirmed all the lies I used to come out with when I was at school.

So I got away with it……
