WINGS- I know you aren't evil sis ! LOL! My wife and I have met you and talked on the phone with you ; consider you a great friend. I'm sorry you were shunned for the first time ; although doesn't it just verify in your own mind how wrong they are ; and how right you were in leaving the witnesses ? Thanks for responding to my topics.

LISA ANN- Wings answered you right. It's either 20 or 21 responses to a thread you make then it goes to flaming.

HOMEROVAH- Thanks Homer. I appreciate the kind words. I figure we've all suffered enough exiting the mind control cult Jehovah's Witnesses - so a little understanding and kindness towards people's needs never hurts - always helps. I enjoy your posts too bro !

FREUDIAN SLIP- That's a good point you make. We were not allowed as witnesses to talk about alot of " debatable " topics. Sex and politics being a couple of them. So it's good to be able to have the freedom to talk about these things and learn from one another.

JOHN DOE- A " straight " flaming topic would be the opposite of a " gay " flaming topic. We had an example of some of those topics about 3 weeks ago ! Lots of responses to those , yes indeed.

NEW YORK 44M- Thanks for resonding NY ! I always enjoy your takes on things !

QUANDRY- That is a great idea you have. It would be cool to see a topic on a big meetup for a lot of posters. We had an apostafest at South Lake Tahoe in California this last July 4th. About 20 people showed up- it was a blast ! It would be good to get some more people together. Thanks for the kind words.

HAPPEHANNA- I agree. I like the personal experiences of others as well. We learn so much about what other people are going through- and get ideas from them on how to handle various situations that come up !

ASILENTONE- Don't bet against me ! LOL! I bet this topic will hit 21 posts as well before it's over ! I'm fairly inwardly competitive towards myself ! LOL!

Checking in here. I like threads that ask people about themselves. I had some successful threads. One favorite was when I asked people what they collect. People so joyfully shared about their passion/collections. I also like the thread I did about Mid Life Crisis. Then there was the tongue in cheek thread I did about possible apostates inflitrating JWD. It was a response to one of the big pro jw boards being closed because there were scared that "apostates" had infiltrated their board. We laughed a lot with that thread. So yes, I'd like to see threads that help us get to know other posters in a more personal way. The picture threads are great, getting to see what people look like.

FLYING HIGH NOW- I too enjoy posting on threads where we get to know one nother better ! Good idea ! That one you started about what people collect was a good idea ! Also the apostate thread - I can imagine that was good as well. The picture threads are good too- I enjoy the apostafest threads when people get together and takepictures. We had a blast in South Lake Tahoe. Thanks for the ideas

HOPE 4 OTHERS- Thanks sis ! I will continue to post here as well as the other board. There are some great people here still who haven't gone to the other board so I want to keep in touch with them as well. But I enjoy posting threads for people to enjoy.
