Loans, marriage offers, alimony, palimony, lawsuits, con games, pure nosiness.....So many thoughts arise when I read badboy's inquiry into someone else's financial status!

Almost all of the JWs that I know personally are in very low paying menial jobs and can barely put food on the table or pay the rent or buy clothes at the local thrift shop. There are a few older aunts and uncles of mine that have had fairly decent jobs and own their own homes and are able to live a fairly comfortable life in retirement. But all my cousins are barely making it and drink too much, suffer from depression, and other mental illnesses, use food stamps etc.

I never knew any rich JWs in my years of being associated.

That's difficult to pin down. I know there are many wealthy JW's.

In southern Calif for example there are a lot of JW's in the entertainment field who are "rich" . But as a percentage of total JWs worldwide I think it is miniscule. Don't forget all those third world countries where the JW's have flourished. If median income were known my guess is the average JW's would be considered below the poverty level.
